L'Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara Review

L'Oreal Voluminous miss manga Mascara
in 376 Black Brown

I honestly bought it because:
1.) It was on sale and I had plenty of coupons and a 15% discount.
2.) I was taken by the packaging and the promo photos for this product.

(I just googled these images just for example. )

As you can see, one of the features of this mascara includes a flexor wand. Which mean it'll move and bounce as you apply to cover your lashes and you don't have to contort your arms to apply on your baby lashes. The brush is great, honestly.

Bare Lashes.

Left side has product, Right Side is bare.

I think this mascara delivers long and voluminous lashes. All it takes to achieve this is two layers or coats of the mascara.

Would I buy this again? One hundred percent. 100%! Yes.

001 Blackest Black
Grow Luscious Mascara

This mascara was designed to give you longer, prettier lashes and actually do something for them long after you take the mascara off. It helps your lashes grow.

Packaging2/5: Basic and nothing spectacular, green was a nice color compared to typical black and white backgrounds you see.

I was skeptical but for me, it had worked a little, my lashes looked longer by centimeters and they looked healthy.

The brush was made out of fiber instead of plastic which I like more, the consistency was moderate. I could get two to three coats in and still not have it looking like I didn't get crazy arms and applied too much. At times it felt like the formula was on the drier side and I like it to feel a little more liquid-like and have it not feel like I'm literally brushing my eyelashes.

The Wand3/5: The fiber brush made it feel like it was trying. I think it made the formula a little dry though. However it was probably necessary to have the grow formula work so it could adhere to the lash hair and make a difference in lash growth and length.

Usage Comparison
After applying 2 to 3 coats of Grow Luscious
The Formula: 2.5 / 5 :  The only thing I liked was the part about it making your lashes healthy and longer, it was a mascara that was working for you in more than one way. It helps grow lashes and also it is a fun cosmetic device.

Overall Rating: 3 / 5 : I like this mascara however, it would have to be paired with another mascara, it feels like it lacks just by itself. It gives me length and a bit of volume, separates my lashes decently. I did like the fact that it was nourishing my lashes, i liked that part a lot. It just didn't feel like I go drive myself to wear it if I had other mascara products. Its good if that's all you have.

Bottom Line:
Would I buy again? No.

Revlon Lash Potion Mascara in 001

* Regular Formula

Packaging: 4/5
The packaging is very simple but I really liked how my eyes were drawn to this product. It seems very fairy-tale like and I also love bokeh effects so, maybe I'm a little biased.

The Wand: 4/5
I really loved the wand the product came with, it separated my lashes and coated them nicely where there wasn't any clumping issues. It was a fiber wand which focuses on volume more than length but this wand delivered. It gave you volume AND length, as the product promised.

I really think the name for the wand is very clever.
There was a bit of thought to this product and how it could appeal to women.

Usage Comparison:

Obviously, my lashes here don't have any makeup on them, so they're completely bare. They are crazy and have a little bit of curl and they flair out at the end a little.

You can see a noticeable difference here. This is only with two coats.
The product delivered length and volume and that's what I got.

The formula: 3.8/5

Initially, I was not pleased with the formula itself. I felt that it lacked something and my lashes would fall a little from the weight of the product. I had heard such good things about the waterproof version of this product and I thought the regular version would be just as awesome.
I can't vouch for the waterproof formula just yet but I learned to enjoy that little tube.

Overall: 4.2/5
While it fell flat in some areas of my expectation, I did notice a little plus to the mascara that I didn't notice compared to other mascara products. This product made a difference in the length and quality of my lashes. My lashes were longer and stronger and I could see the difference after a bit of time using the product.

Bottom Line: "Would I buy this product again?"
However, I would try the waterproof version of this mascara.

I have returned

I really missed blogging about the one thing I love most: Makeup.
While I know some of you have followed me for a long time, I just kind of fell off the face of the earth, but it was something that had to be done.
Now, I'm attending my second semester of college and some of you know that I was attending to get my cosmetology license but I recently did a career change and I am doing Radiology.

I am also employed full-time at a drug store which has me stable financially. I am also taking an 11-week financial course through my church to help me better myself through a budget. Then I'll be on my way to getting my very own car, this will be my first.

Now, that you pretty much have the idea of where I am now in my life, I'd like to say that EMAURA will be back online slowly but surely, I really missed posting pictures and reviews.
